Acceptable use policy

What you may and may not do with OID4Pay. This policy is part of the Terms of Service.

1. Scope

This policy applies to everyone who uses OID4Pay: wallet holders, the AI agents they authorise, and merchants who integrate. Breaking it can lead to suspension or closure of your account and, where the law requires, a report to the authorities.

2. You must not

• Use the service for anything illegal, or to buy or sell goods or services that are illegal in your country.
• Use it for fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion.
• Make or authorise payments you are not entitled to make, or try to defeat the spend limits, merchant scope, or expiry of a mandate.
• Let an agent act outside the authority you granted it, or share your wallet credentials.
• Probe, scan, or attack the service except as allowed under our security policy.
• Infringe intellectual property or other rights.
• Open or use an account from a country OID4Pay does not serve.
• Resell, overload, or abuse the API or the protocol.

3. Merchants

Merchants must sell only what their own licences and the law permit, must not present OID4Pay as their regulator or bank, and remain the merchant of record for their sales.

4. Enforcement

We may limit, suspend, or close access for a breach, and may keep a signed record of the breach for our audit trail. Serious or repeated breaches end the relationship.
